Everyday cursive is mainly about readable connected handwriting. Cursive calligraphy is more deliberate: letter spacing, stroke contrast, and flourishes matter more because the result is often used as a visual design reference.
Use fewer words
Calligraphy usually works best for names, short phrases, dates, place cards, and headings. Long paragraphs become hard to read.
Check spacing first
