How to Make a Cursive Signature
A good typed signature is readable at small sizes, has enough stroke contrast, and uses a style that fits the context where it will appear.
Signature creation steps
1. Type your name
Start with your full name, then test initials or a shorter version if the result feels crowded.
2. Choose a style
Elegant styles feel personal; bold styles hold up better on small screens.
3. Export cleanly
Download PNG for quick use or SVG when the signature needs to scale.
What makes a signature readable
A signature image should still be recognizable after it is resized. Before exporting, check the first capital letter, the spacing between name parts, and whether descenders such as g, j, y, or z have enough room.
Full name
Use a full name when the signature needs to look formal or when initials are not enough context.
Initials
Initials work well for profile images, watermarks, and informal marks where a compact shape is better.
